Short version

TailorFit is a free tool, provided as-is, to help you rewrite your resume and cover letter to match a job posting. It doesn't guarantee you'll get an interview or a job. You're responsible for reviewing and using the output honestly.

What TailorFit does

You provide a resume (pasted, uploaded, or built from a short form) and a job posting. TailorFit sends that text to an AI provider to generate a tailored resume or cover letter, and can search live job listings by role and location through a third-party job search provider. That's the entire service — there are no accounts, subscriptions, or paid tiers at this time.

Your responsibilities

• Only submit information about yourself, or that you have the right to submit.
• Don't use TailorFit to fabricate qualifications, credentials, or experience you don't actually have. TailorFit is built to rephrase and highlight real experience — not invent it — and doing so is on you, not the tool.
• Review every generated resume and cover letter before sending it to an employer. You are responsible for what you submit as a job applicant, not TailorFit.
• Don't use the service to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it.

No guarantees

TailorFit is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI-generated text can contain errors, awkward phrasing, or occasionally miss the mark on tone or relevance. Job search results depend on a third-party provider and may be incomplete, outdated, or unavailable for some countries. TailorFit does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome from using it.

Ownership of your content

You own whatever you submit to TailorFit — your resume, your job posting text, and the tailored output you receive. TailorFit doesn't claim any rights over it, and as covered in the Privacy Policy, none of it is stored after your session ends.

Third parties involved

TailorFit relies on Groq (AI text generation), Adzuna (job search results), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own terms and practices that apply to how they process requests made on your behalf through TailorFit. See the Privacy Policy for more detail on this.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TailorFit and its operator aren't liable for any damages, losses, or missed opportunities arising from your use of the service — including decisions made based on AI-generated content or job search results.

Changes

This is an independent, early-stage project, and these terms may be updated as it grows. Continuing to use TailorFit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
