TailorFit doesn't create accounts, doesn't ask for a password, and doesn't keep a database of your information. What you paste, upload, or type in is used only to generate your result, then it's gone.
The text you provide is sent to our AI provider (currently accessed through Groq) solely to generate your tailored resume, cover letter, or to run a job search. It passes through our server in memory while your request is processed — it is not written to a database or saved anywhere by TailorFit.
If you upload a PDF or Word document, it is read in memory just long enough to extract the text, then discarded. The file itself is never saved to disk or stored.
After tailoring a resume or generating a cover letter, the result is temporarily held in your browser's session storage so it can be shown on the results page. This is cleared automatically when you close the tab — it never leaves your device and is not sent to us for storage.

We don't control these providers' internal data practices beyond what's needed to make requests to them. If ownership or operation of this site changes hands, the new operator's own accounts and credentials with these services are used going forward — no data is shared between operators.
TailorFit may use Google AdSense to display ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Ad-serving cookies are handled by Google, not by TailorFit — we don't use the data they collect for anything ourselves, since none of this site's other functionality relies on tracking or accounts.
Avoid pasting sensitive personal information beyond what you'd normally put on a resume (name, contact details, work history). Review your tailored resume and cover letter before sending them to an employer — TailorFit assists with drafting, it doesn't guarantee accuracy.
